At the beginning of this book, Stephanie’s long time on again off again relationship with Joe Morelli takes an ominous turn when he tells her (after they have had sex) that they shouldn’t see each other for a while. Stephanie is hurt, puzzled, and irritated by turns. However, she doesn’t have much time to think about it because of all the FTA that she and Lula have to find some of whom are truly dangerous and some crazy. I think that the number of vehicles that are destroyed in this novel is at an all time high.
