Amy Poehler didn’t write a hugely funny story, she wrote her story, which happened to be about her career and journey through comedy and parts of the book I was genuinely laughing out loud. What I really got out of this memoir, though, was her advice. Love advice, pregnancy advice, divorce advice…career advice, etc. this woman has been through a lot and keeps it honest. I found myself highlighting large paragraphs and making tons of personal notes that related to what Amy was saying. Simply loved the book.
